How Un-Scarpetta I must say, I am a tad bit disappointed in Patricia Cornwell. I picked up a Dr. Kay Scarpetta book after not reading one for a while (I’m only one book behind), flipped it over and on the back is a woman who has so obviously had work done. She has all of the signs I’ve learned from watching Joan Rivers and Melanie Griffith. The mouth that seems wider and puffier than in the past and the eyes that seem a little tighter. I looked at older photos to see if I was just imagining things but, nope, there’s a difference. She’s always kept it real. I mean, really real. That’s why I buy her books. I don’t 100% like Kay Scarpetta but, it just doesn’t seem like something she would do. I know, I know — she’s no Kay Scarpetta. Zoom
